Our Advanced Dermal Filler Course has been specifically designed for qualified practitioners who have successfully completed foundation dermal filler training and wish to develop their clinical expertise in advanced facial contouring and structural rejuvenation.
This comprehensive programme combines advanced theory with practical hands-on training, enabling practitioners to confidently assess facial proportions, restore volume and enhance facial contours using safe, evidence-based injection techniques. The course focuses on achieving balanced, natural-looking results while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional practice.
Throughout the course, learners will gain an in-depth understanding of advanced facial anatomy, ageing of the mid and lower face, vascular anatomy, product rheology and facial assessment. Students will learn how to create bespoke treatment plans based on individual facial structure, aesthetic goals and the principles of facial harmony and proportion.
Practical training focuses on three of the most requested advanced dermal filler procedures, providing practitioners with the confidence to perform treatments safely whilst creating enhanced definition and facial balance.

Learners will also develop a comprehensive understanding of consultation techniques, facial mapping, product selection, injection depths, cannula versus needle techniques, aspiration principles, bolus and linear threading methods, layering techniques and treatment sequencing. Significant emphasis is placed on achieving natural enhancements that complement each client’s unique facial features.
The course also explores advanced patient assessment, informed consent, photography, documentation, managing expectations, infection prevention and control, COSHH, PPE, emergency protocols and current industry best practice. Particular focus is given to complication prevention, vascular anatomy, recognising vascular occlusion, emergency management procedures and the safe use of hyaluronidase where appropriate.

Entry Requirements
This course is intended for qualified medical professionals or aesthetics practitioners who have successfully completed a recognised Foundation Dermal Filler qualification (or equivalent) and hold appropriate insurance to undertake advanced injectable treatments.
Upon successful completion, practitioners will have the knowledge and practical skills required to confidently perform advanced facial contouring treatments and expand their injectable treatment portfolio with safe, evidence-based techniques.
