Our Dermaplaning Facial Course has been designed to provide learners with the theoretical knowledge, practical competence and professional confidence required to safely perform professional dermaplaning treatments within a salon or clinical environment.
This comprehensive programme combines evidence-based theory with practical hands-on training, enabling learners to perform safe and effective manual exfoliation treatments using a sterile surgical blade. Students will learn how dermaplaning removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz), revealing a smoother, brighter complexion whilst improving product absorption and creating the perfect base for make-up application.
Throughout the course, learners will develop an in-depth understanding of skin anatomy and physiology, the skin renewal cycle, consultation techniques, skin analysis and treatment planning. Students will learn how to identify suitable candidates, assess different skin types and safely tailor treatments to meet individual client needs and skin concerns.
Practical training covers every stage of the dermaplaning procedure, including client preparation, skin cleansing, blade selection, safe blade handling, skin stretching techniques, treatment sequencing, finishing products and post-treatment care. Emphasis is placed on precision, hygiene and client safety to ensure consistently professional results.
